2007 Moto Guzzi Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8v

2007 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8v sits near the top of Guzzi's naked bike range, a muscular alternative to the sportier Breva and Norge-style tourers in the lineup. This is a big, torquey V-twin naked that favors low-end shove over high-rev theatrics, and that character defines how it rides. The transverse-mounted engine and shaft drive give it a planted, substantial feel at speed, while the single-sided swingarm and chunky proportions make it look as purposeful as it rides. Around town it's heavy and deliberate rather than flickable, but open a backroad and the pull from low in the rev range makes it a satisfying, unhurried kind of fast. The 2007 model carried over without significant mechanical changes from the prior year — buyers comparing it to a 2006 example should focus on mileage, service history, and condition rather than spec differences. The Griso 1200 8v tends to attract riders who already know Guzzis, often stepping up from a smaller-displacement Guzzi or away from a Japanese standard in search of more character and mechanical personality. It's not a bike bought for investment potential, but for riders who want something with real presence and don't mind the quirks that come with Italian V-twin ownership.
