2008 MV Agusta F4 R312

2008 MV Agusta F4-R312 sits at the top of the F4 range, a limited-run homologation-flavored superbike built to chase a top speed number few production motorcycles of its era could touch. This is a bike that demands commitment: the riding position is aggressive, the powerband comes alive high in the rev range, and the chassis rewards a rider who actually knows how to use a racetrack rather than just look fast parked outside a cafe. Ownership means accepting a temperamental, high-maintenance machine in exchange for handling and character that mass-produced Japanese liter bikes don't offer. The 2008 model carried over without significant mechanical changes from the prior year, buyers comparing it to a 2007 example should focus on mileage, service history, and condition rather than spec differences. There's mention of fuel line concerns in owner forums worth asking about during inspection, though nothing rises to recall status. Buyers here tend to be experienced sportbike riders or MV collectors trading up from a standard F4, drawn as much to the exclusivity and Italian pedigree as to outright performance, and the 2008 F4-R312 holds genuine collector appeal today.
