The 2015 Benelli BN 600 R

Sitting in the middle of Benelli's revived lineup, the 2015 Benelli BN 600 R takes the inline-four architecture Benelli inherited from its QJ ownership and wraps it in naked-bike styling aimed at riders who want four-cylinder smoothness without committing to a full sportbike riding position. The upright bars and mid-set pegs make it comfortable for daily commuting, but that four-cylinder top end still rewards a rider willing to wring it out on a backroad. It's a heavier bike than most 600cc competitors, so low-speed maneuvering asks for a bit more attention, though the weight settles down nicely once you're moving and adds a planted feel through faster sweepers. The chain final drive keeps maintenance straightforward and familiar to anyone coming off a Japanese middleweight.

The 2015 model carried over without significant mechanical changes from the prior year — buyers comparing it to a 2014 example should focus on mileage, service history, and condition rather than spec differences.

This is a bike for riders drawn to something less common than the usual Japanese or European naked-bike suspects, often someone who wants distinctive styling and a four-cylinder engine note on a budget, without chasing collector value.
